Pictured above is Rodney Stratton's Hardwood Lake Suzie Dog. I have been fortunate enough to hunt with this three year old female many times since I first saw her fire into a woods and tree a squirrel at seven months old. I was truly astonished at the ability this female had at such a young age. Over the last couple seasons I seen a many good dogs at Hardwood Lake Kennel any of which I would be proud to own. I don't think I would be going out on a limb to say that Suzie has always been Rodney's pick in a squirrel dog for himself. She possesses the ability to get it done right, fast and accurate! Suzie will surly throw the same traits in a litter of pups.

I have been very fortunate that Rodney Stratton brought his very best female to breed to Schneider's Hank. This cross should produce some very competition like pups, first to tree, independent, accurate tree dogs. I am as excited about this cross as any that have been made in the past. Suzie is out of Hardwood Lake Jake and Sanes Creek Rosa, both dogs need no introduction.

Above is a picture of a Danny Craig and Craig's Katie. Any of you that know Danny knows that he is a super hard Hunter and only keeps top notch dogs. Katie is his best, (loud stay put hard tree dog) in short Katie is being bred to Schneider's Hank these should make some early starting independent stay put puppies. Above is a picture of Blue Creek Trigger or (Trig), Trig is a pleasure to hunt she is a proven squirrel dog at three years old she knows how to get it done quick fast and in a hurry. Blue Creek Trig at one time was Schneider's Trig, but when Melvin Westerman stated his intention was breeding Trig to Hank well how could we pass? Trig is out of Smith's Samantha (BobbieXRusty) and Johnny Parrett's Rebel dog.

Melvin has also made the BLUE CREEK BB and SCHNEIDERS HANK cross once again, the last time we made this cross we had 100% turnout of squirrel dogs. it produced such dogs as STAN, CHOPPER, HARLEY, ZIPP, SISSY. These are all squirrel dogs that have been treeing squirrels since a young age and you are sure to see a few from that litter in the competition hunts real soon!

Pictured above is a young man and his best friend and hunting companion Lucy. I received a call from Quintin asking if he could breed his only female to Hank. Ron Hubbard who is Quintin's grandfather, has always owned a good dog or two. Ron tells me that Lucy is a natural tree dog that hooks right and always has the meat. She is a pleasure to hunt and Quintin spends most of the squirrel season in the woods with that dog. Quintin's neighbor has a pup out of HANK and GOOSE, Quintin and Ron have been to the woods with the dog many times and because of this made the decision to breed Lucy to Hank.

Ben Ceglinski of Mount Vernon Illinois made the trip over to Indiana to bring his good young female to Hank. "Lady" is out of two well known PKC competition dogs Jamming Bo and Flaming Fannie. Lady is a good looking 30 pound female that is is a solid performer every time Ben takes her into the woods. She is hunted mainly on squirrel and has been doing a slam up job at it. Ben says she is a medium hunting female that will go deep if needed to, she checks in and handles good, when she trees she has the meat with a nice steady chop at the tree. These pups should make good ones and we appreciate Ben bringing his female to Hank. Ben loves to hunt these dogs and says he looks forward to this litter so we are really not sure how many of these pups he will book (Ben says he would like to hunt them all)!! Pictured above is Doug Cox of Holton Indiana and his fine female Cox's Bell. Bell is from Jessie James and Streak Jr breeding. She is a fast track and tree dog that stays put once treed. She is silent on track and when she trees has a loud chop. Bell is Doug's top female, he only owns two dogs so she gets hunted plenty hard on both squirrel and coon. Doug has a male dog that is out of Schneider's Hank and White Creek Goose, he bought this dog as a puppy and was impressed to see him tree his own squirrel at 7 months old.
